Hi There! Welcome to the Crypto Codex. My name is Marc Goldman but some people refer to me as Morpheus. Why am I called that? Well Morpheus was one of the main characters in the Matrix movies of the 1990s.
He was the guide that took NEO and others down their journey into escaping the Matrix and achieving freedom.
I have used this quote from Morpheus before in my Defund the Matrix Telegram group and I think its more apropos then ever for our crypto codex group:
“You take the blue pill, the story ends, you wake up in your bed and believe whatever you want to believe. You take the red pill, you stay in wonderland, and I show you how deep the rabbit hole goes.”
. I will be your Red Pill guide on this journey into the crazy and wonderful world known as Cryptocurrency.
I have had a love affair with Crypto since I acquired my first Bitcoin in 2013.
A client who owed me some money that he was trying to pay off asked me if I would accept some Bitcoin as payment. I knew Bitcoin but I had been watching from the sidelines for the first few years not really knowing if it would take off and expecting similar disappointments like e-gold and other earlier attempts at non-FIAT currencies
Anyway he paid me 5 BTC which at that time was worth about $2,500.00
I then got really excited and began to monitor crypto much more closely and learn more about it. I acquired 11 more bitcoin and actually began thinking about how I could build a crypto payment gateway into our main business at the time which was a shopping cart that helped small businesses to sell online.
So here I am with 16 BTC (which as of today, Jan. 31st, 2021) would be worth between 500 – 600,000 dollars).
But alas the story doesn’t end there.
2014 was a really tough year for me. We made some stupid business decisions and had an epic failure of our almost 20 year old software business. Everyone I thought was loyal to me proved otherwise and we found ourselves sitting on a big debt.
I had been a prepper/survivalist on and off since 2002 and had been stacking many things in preparation for the times we live in now. On the currency side I had precious metals: gold and silver and I had my cryptos.
But to pay my bills, I had to make the hard choice to sell them all, lick my wounds and get back to rebuilding.
That is the Entrepreneurs curse: many successes, and many, many, many more failures. The first lesson to pick up from that is that its not how many times you fall down, its how many times you get back up and keep fighting (probably why Rocky is one of the most popular movies of all time).
I have spent the past 7 years of my life rebuilding and had a lot of successes and again a lot of failures.
But my goal has been to get back to Crypto. I watched the Crypto Bull Market of 2017 unable to do much because at the time we were taking care of my wife’s Mother as she was in her last year of life.
After she passed, I was able to start rebuilding things again in our businesses. I made some hard decisions that I will talk about in future lessons as they are applicable to you and your life. I spent many nights studying crypto and wondering when it would be the time for Crypto to rise.
That time is now. 2020 – 2021 have been hell years for most people but for many who have been involved in the Crypto space for a # of years some since 2009 when Bitcoin first came into being its been nothing but GREATNESS.
I know people who are able to pay for private planes to fly their families all over. I know people who made so much they bought an oceanliner so they could start a Seasteading community. I know some people who founded a country!
I also know people who just live normally. They have the freedom (still in this day and age) to make choices for themselves and their families.
That is what Crypto gives you. That is what Crypto has given to many people, including myself. That is what I want to give to you…right now…in this program I call the Crypto Codex.
What is a Codex? A codex is an ancient manuscript or book, made up of many different pieces of information that function as the entire compendium of knowledge on a topic.
I cannot promise I will be able to put EVERYTHING about Crypto into this program (nor do I think you need it). Instead I will prepare a modern version of a codex. This digital haven that you can have access to for as long as you wish. I will break down everything about Crypto for you:
You will learn the foundations of crypto: what it is, what it was meant to be and how to use it properly. You will learn everything about how to acquire it, how to store it, how to save it, how to spend it, even how to lend it and get paid back with interest.
You will learn how to judge what makes a great cryptocurrency and what makes something a promise coin full of little more than hype.
You will learn advanced topics like how to day trade cryptos, how to get fREE cryptos, how to stake your crypto, how to lend your crypto, how to profit from crypto and what the best cryptos are.
Thats right, I will give you access to everything I know and learn about on a daily basis and EVERY single investment in my portfolio I will share with you: good, bad and even ugly.
I currently pay about $1000 a month to learn from multiple sources everything about crypto. I will take all that knowledge, filter out the extraneous stuff and provide you with EVERY nugget I acquire right here in the Crypto Codex so you need not worry about having to go anywhere else.
With that said, I have no interest in keeping you a prisoner so you are free to check out anytime you like (to quote the Eagles) but you will always be welcome back (assuming we can work together).
In light of that, I will tell you one thing about me, some of you may have figured out already. I do not take shit from anyone.
I am a very nice person (or I try to be) but I learned a long time ago that you should never mistake kindness for weakness. I will not tolerate abuse of myself or other members so we have to be a community founded on the Golden Rule: do onto others as you would have them do unto you!
If you want to argue, or always be negative or be a hater, the door is that way and as much as I do not want to be I wont hesitate to be the bouncer here.
With that out of the way, I expect all of us will get along great and we will all become very successful together.
Before we get started, I want to say one last thing:
The Crypto Codex is going to be an ongoing, living organic movement. One that grows and changes with every change in the Crypto world. So, there is no end to this program. Only a beginning – which is now. I will be here with you as long as I have breath in my body and together we will ride this beautiful stallion to freedom for ourselves and our loved ones.
